Fauna

Fauna invites you into an organic, psychedelic, dance-driven universe where music becomes ritual. Their sound wraps listeners in hypnotic rhythms, guiding them through dense, wild landscapes on a volcanic, driving pulse. Time dissolves and space bends as you are drawn into a mind-warping journey deep within the forest. Blending organic instrumentation with infectious, club-ready beats, Fauna crafts a sound that feels both primal and forward-thinking. A powerful introduction to their evolving sonic world.

MAYTE

Straight from the heart, Mayte serves headstrong, alternative pop songs with Frisian lyrics. With themes like lost loves, secret desires and growing up, she takes you along with her in an explosive, theatrical performance.

Harpy

Harpy has haunted the Melbourne goth scene for over a year, forging a signature sound that fuses industrial grit, electronic pulse, and metal intensity. With confrontational female vocals, driving synths, and crushing guitar riffs, she builds worlds shaped by the dark and the bizarre. The London-based alt-queen and self-dubbed “Goth Metal Mommy” channels cinematic storytelling, nu-metal attitude, and nu-goth aesthetics into a sexually charged, fiercely feminine force that captivates and unsettles in equal measure, leaving no safe escape.

Bandit

From Liverpool, UK, Alt/Post-Punk four-piece Bandit the band emerged with EPs ‘Here’s To Being Alive’ and ‘The Good Times Are Killing Me’. In 2025 they return with the ‘Scandalous’ EP, led by single ‘Masquerade’, expanding their indie/alternative roots into a darker, shoegaze-tinged post-punk sound driven by guitar noise and introspective lyrics. They’ve earned support from BBC Radio 1, Radio X, BBC Introducing, Dork and DIY, and built a strong live reputation touring with The Reytons, IST IST and Deadletter, plus UK festival and headline appearances.

BLOED

Bloed is the brainchild of siblings. Though they only began writing together in 2022, their chemistry was instant, quickly forging a distinct sound and identity. Their rapid ascent earned them a spot and ultimately victory in the 2023 edition of Sound Track, the prestigious music competition organized by vi.be. Pushing the boundaries of their sound, Bloed is a force that demands to be experienced live. Energetic, loud, and unapologetically bold, their music is a unifying pulse.

Jonna Fraser

Armed with his soulful vocal sound, the heart of a lion and a wide smile, Jonna hit the Dutch charts in 2015 as one of the members of hip-hop collective New Wave. After filling arenas, he’s hitting our stage with his biggest hits (Do Or Die, Ik Kom Bij Je, My Love and many more), ready to transform Ketelhuisplein into one big, unforgettable high-energy party.

Slow Crush

Slow Crush is a band that thrives on evolution. After their acclaimed debut Aurora they toured relentlessly, building a global fanbase drawn to their immersive, swirling soundscapes. Their second album Hush continued their ascent, leading to sold-out shows and international acclaim. New music took a back seat for a while as the band focused on life on the road, but the four-year gap between Hush and their latest release brought fresh perspective and creative renewal. Their latest work, recorded with Lewis Johns at The Ranch, layers dreamy vocals with gritty guitars, glitchy textures, and even unexpected saxophone, reflecting themes of emotional burnout, reconnection, and the search for clarity.

Elmer

Filled with humor, self-mockery, and sharp lyrics, Elmer consciously plays with expectations surrounding gender, sound, and appearance, thereby challenging the norm. Expect a show which moves between confrontation and tenderness, demonstrating that love and reckoning can coexist perfectly well. No redemption, but as a hand on your shoulder with room to doubt.

Wrong Man

Wrong Man is a band that refuses to fit into a single mold. Blending soulful post-hardcore with bluesy moods, noisy edges, and melodic twists, their sound recalls the spirit of Quicksand, The Jesus Lizard, Sonic Youth, and The Wipers, yet feels entirely their own. Born from previous projects like Oathbreaker, Partisan, and Rise And Fall, Wrong Man has evolved with each release, from their ‘90s-inspired debut Who Are You? to the dynamic, contrasting sounds of Big Plans. Their upcoming debut full-length promises to push boundaries even further.

TJE

Belgian trio TJE turned the Dutch diminutive suffix “-tje” into a striking band name. With minimal gear, they create a powerful, atmospheric sound that pushes their instruments toward dissonance and friction. Their debut EP, IDOLS, blends off-kilter electronica, melancholic avant-pop, and experimental post-rock, drawing comparisons to Portishead and Fever Ray. Versyck’s voice has been described as balancing “between childlike naivety and brooding intensity.” TJE has already made a strong live impact in Belgium and the Netherlands and will show why at Hit The City!
