About the documentary
In Tra Fasi, filmmaker Charity Charly takes us to Suriname, where young punk Shavero tries to create a space for alternative subculture. In a society where being different is not always a given, he brings musicians, artists, and outsiders together to make their own space. The film follows Shavero as he organizes an event for the alternative scene and shows how music and subculture can offer a place for self-expression, connection, and freedom.
