Her artistry as a singer-songwriter is evident in both her songwriting and on-stage charisma, and she has already begun to carve out a name for herself through a series of notable performances. For those passionate about discovering genuine, emerging talent in live music, following Pixie McCann is essential. Don’t miss one of indie pop’s most promising new voices live on stage.

Charlotte OC

Charlotte OC returns with her most powerful chapter yet, unveiling a sound that is richer, bolder, and deeply personal. Shaped by a multicultural heritage and a journey through early major-label pressure, loss, and rediscovery, she has rebuilt her artistry on her own terms. After stepping back and returning home, she re-emerged with renewed clarity, transforming experience into raw, cinematic songwriting. Her music blends grit and grace, echoing the fearless spirit of Patti Smith and the unfiltered honesty of Amy Winehouse, while carving out a voice that is unmistakably her own.

JACOTÉNE

At just 20 years old, Melbourne’s rising star JACOTÉNE is already proving she’s a force to be reckoned with. Blending power, soul and vulnerability, she delivers every note with striking emotion and timeless flair. She has climbed charts worldwide and earned praise from major outlets including Triple J, NME and Vogue Australia. With a voice as distinctive as the setting itself, she’s a perfect fit for one of Hit The City’s newest and most intimate locations.

TJE

Belgian trio TJE turned the Dutch diminutive suffix “-tje” into a striking band name. With minimal gear, they create a powerful, atmospheric sound that pushes their instruments toward dissonance and friction. Their debut EP, IDOLS, blends off-kilter electronica, melancholic avant-pop, and experimental post-rock, drawing comparisons to Portishead and Fever Ray. Versyck’s voice has been described as balancing “between childlike naivety and brooding intensity.” TJE has already made a strong live impact in Belgium and the Netherlands and will show why at Hit The City!

Greg Freeman

Greg Freeman delivers a live set where past and present collide in a blaze of urgency. The Maryland-born, Vermont-based songwriter excavates the eccentric ugliness of American history, transforming it into character-driven songs filled with violence, loss, revelation, and hard-won clarity. On his explosive sophomore album Burnover Freeman fuses high-voltage indie rock with a restless twang. Inspired by the myth-soaked Northeast and writers like Emily Dickinson, these songs hum with danger and possibility around every corner.

Frans Kalf

Frans Kalf is a cynically joyful life artist, half Amsterdammer, half Ghentian. With catchy songs and sharp lyrics, he guides you through a bittersweet world under the approving gaze of Shaffy and Brel. A place for heartbreaks and belly laughs alike. His debut single, “Terwijl Je Voor Me Stond”, out January 21, fuses chanson with indie and folk, instantly defining his signature sound. Already a Sound Track laureate, Frans captivates stages across the Low Countries and tours with Dressed Like Boys, Kaat Van Stralen, and Johannes Is Zijn Naam.

Silver Lake

The Hague’s indie duo Silver Lake returns with nocturnal, melancholic art-pop. After a year of writing and recording, they offer a nuanced sound that blurs indie and ’60s-inspired folk-pop. Marleen Hoebe’s intimate vocals explore life’s tender moments while Jesse Koch’s lush arrangements expand their sonic world. With singles like Put Me Under, Beaches, and Don’t You Waste Our Time, Silver Lake has captured Dutch radio attention and supported artists including Rufus Wainwright and Son Mieux.

gala dragot

Björk's weirdness meets Rosalía's drama, but make it about doom-scrolling at 3am and wanting someone who doesn't exist: gala dragot makes art-pop for girls who feel too much. Bringing glitchy chaos, she serves strings that haunt you and electronics that hit differently. No filter, no label, just vibes and feelings.
