Mula

Mula, the rapper from The Hague, is one of the most influential figures in Dutch hip-hop. Through his label Wilde Westen, he helped introduce trap music to the Netherlands, while his 2016 mixtape Drugs&Geld achieved cult status and remains highly influential. On his acclaimed album Narcopop, Mula pushes musical boundaries by blending trap and hip-hop with elements of pop, rock, and jazz, all driven by his razor-sharp lyrics. Hailed by Parool as the best Dutch hip-hop album of 2023, Narcopop also reached Spotify’s global top 10 album releases.

Jonna Fraser

Armed with his soulful vocal sound, the heart of a lion and a wide smile, Jonna hit the Dutch charts in 2015 as one of the members of hip-hop collective New Wave. After filling arenas, he’s hitting our stage with his biggest hits (Do Or Die, Ik Kom Bij Je, My Love and many more), ready to transform Ketelhuisplein into one big, unforgettable high-energy party.

Elmer

Filled with humor, self-mockery, and sharp lyrics, Elmer consciously plays with expectations surrounding gender, sound, and appearance, thereby challenging the norm. Expect a show which moves between confrontation and tenderness, demonstrating that love and reckoning can coexist perfectly well. No redemption, but as a hand on your shoulder with room to doubt.

S10

Sharing her most personal stories through song, rap and spoken word, S10 has established herself as the crown princess of Dutch alt pop. With millions of streams, collaborations with the biggest artists of our country she knows how to touch all of our hearts with her vulnerable and impressive stories.

Typhoon

This Dutch hip-hop musician gives a close look into his heart and soul with honest and vulnerable lyrics. As a celebration of being human, he always contains the message that we are enough: we are love. Through his colorful, energetic, and poetic stories, Typhoon takes you into the conversation taking place in society and shines his light on it. Never finger-pointing, but always connected.

Kevin

Kevin de Gier a.k.a. Slowflowanimal (1994) has his own unique style of making music. As his alias reveals, he does everything at his own pace. The Rotterdam-born and raised rapper of Dutch/British descent raps primarily in a narrative style. He paints a picture with words of how he sees the life around him and of what he experiences himself.

Josylvio

Josylvio, a.k.a. Mr. Hella Cash, has been striding through the Dutch hip-hop scene for years. Driven by a raw street mentality and a razor-sharp style, the Dutch-Egyptian rapper released the hard-hitting Ma3seb in 2016. That proved to be just the beginning of a series of #1 albums. And that is not even mentioning the number of timeless hip-hop bangers: ‘Le7nesh’, ‘Westside’, ‘Ride or Die’, ‘Catch Up’, ‘Op Je Hoede’, ‘Oost West, Thuis Best’, and ‘Gimma’, to name just a few.

MICHA

As one of the most promising upcoming talents of the Netherlands, MICHA managed to touch the hearts of many with his raw, powerful voice. After many sold out shows, festival gigs and receiving a ‘’Topsong’’ award on NPO Radio 2, he is ready to steal many hearts on our stage.

Sef

Yousef Gnaoui, better known as Sef, first burst onto the scene with the iconic hip-hop collective Flinke Namen, quickly cementing his place in Dutch music through chart-topping collaborations with The Partysquad and Dio. In 2011, he ventured out on his own. His solo debut marked the beginning of a fearless career defined by originality, introspection, and constant evolution. In 2023, Sef released the widely acclaimed ‘Ik Zou Voor Veel Kunnen Sterven Maar Niet Voor Een Vlag’. A powerful album that delves deep into the impact of capitalism, nationalism, and individualism on society. The record earned him the Edison Award for Best Dutch Album of the Year, further solidifying his status as one of the country’s most thought-provoking artists. With a brand-new album, Lieve Monsters, dropping this June, Sef is ready to take things to the next level during Hit The City.
