Maryn Charlie

How to interpret GenZ’s inner struggles in an infectious and personal way; indie-alt pop singer-songwriter Maryn Charlie definitely knows how. By addressing topics such as self-image, social pressure, mental health and self-sabotage, her music serves as the voice of a generation.

milolaathetlukken

The smell of cigarettes and high-end designer clothes in plastic fills the room. MILOLAATHETLUKKEN has arrived. With a modest attitude that is somehow mysteriously mean, the Amsterdam rapper takes us into the adventures of a style icon. The city center of Amsterdam, the night, money, new shoes. No features, just New York drill beats from youtube and from him.

Cherym

Cherym belongs to the new-school queer rockers that has been on the rise in the past few years. Rooted in 90s rock, their resentless enthusiasm and boundless energy encapsulates who they are as people. Once started as a kick-back against a local music boy group, they now share the experiences as a sparkling, powerful liveband.

Zimmer90

Enter Zimmer90, a place of warmth and softness. Under a hefty layer of synths, bass, and electronic drums, the German electro-indie popduo creates light-hearted and optimistic music in which they combine their love for art, music, and architecture. “Sometimes we like to think of songs as spaces. Spaces created by music, that carry out countless possibilities.” If you haven’t heard of them yet from the viral TikTok hit ‘What Love is,’ you’re bound to soon because the band is gaining popularity at lightning speed. Fans of Tame Impala, Beach House, or Men I Trust: make sure to add Zimmer90 to your list.

Kirin J Callinan

The Australian singer-songwriter started as a member of indie rock band Mercy Arms, until they disbanded in 2009. From that point, the flamboyant, extravagant singer started focussing on his solo career. Blend EDM, synth rock and 80’s ballads together and you have the eccentric pop oddity named Kirin J Callinan.

Tantron

Next up: Tantron! In recent years, the DJ/producer has created and refined his own style. Tantron already put himself in the spotlight with his own productions, remixes and viral edits of tracks such as 'Baddadan' (Chase & Status) and 'Pump It' (Black Eyed Peas). After performing at VISSA, WTF and opening the mainstage at Rampage Open Air 2023, Tantron brings his hyperactive drum 'n bass to Hit The City.

Walt Disco

With a generous infusion of synths, punchy drums, and elements of glam rock/new wave, Scottish band Walt Disco could easily be mistaken for a product of the 1980s. The band is turning stages into a retro dance floors, delivering queer art-pop anthems that echo the style of David Bowie. They portray themselves as the band they longed for while growing up, emphasizing self-expression and self-love. Their newest cinematic glam ‘The Warping’ is enriched by classically trained orchestral musicians, and takes listeners on a journey of vulnerability and self-discovery while exploring themes of change, growth and gender dysphoria with radical honesty.
