Dealing in cheerful violence and colourful darkness, this Belgian quartet twists grindcore, powerviolence, noise and other invasive sounds into a frantic, all-consuming assault. Deliberately excessive and proudly allergic to subtlety. Behind the sonic abuse stand Belgium’s nicest boys, armed with hearts full of peace and love and a curious fascination for the absurd and uncomfortable. Lintworm thrive on contrast: cute and grotesque, playful and hostile, ridiculous yet genuinely intense. Their sound doesn’t creep in politely.
